(photo: Gavin)This weekend, some of us drove 8 hours to race, and some rode our bikes a few miles to race. Some endured 40 miles, some hammered for 40 minutes. All came out dusty and happy and completed some pretty rad beer handups. The "SUPER HARDCORE" award for the weekend goes to Jeremiah, who crashed and separated his shoulder in the Chequamegon 40 but rigged it up in a sling using the spare tube in his flat kit and rode 15 more miles of hilly gravelly madness one-handed to finish.
We promised stories. We have some.
